How do we change our thoughts when we feel stuck in the mud that life sometimes slings at us?  First, we look at our intention and language.

These cornerstones of change are quick to pass over as insignificant. Yet, a simple technique of changing our language can change our results in life.

We’ve all heard a lot about positive thinking...and many ask the question “How do you find positive when you
are stuck in life and feeling unsupported, unloved and ignored? The first step is to try to imagine “What would I rather have in life?” at that moment (a reliable car, a new love, a new job).  Yet, this is only the beginning.

Using positive thinking alone to bring that desired option into reality would leave out the emotional and physical
world. By saying “I am a money magnet.” the body reacts strongly by bringing up all the experiences (remember EVERY experience we’ve had is stored in a cell in the body) that are in the way of that statement. This can feel quite uncomfortable, in a matter of moments when the body brings up all the times we let money or opportunities
to create money slip through our fingers.

Interestingly, it also brings up all the times we observed that in our family line through moments of time or stories (remember all the ‘hard luck’ stories from family - “I walked through snow to school with no shoes....” “We were so poor, we couldn’t even....”). In essence, the body disagrees with the positive statement through it’s storehouse of
experience. So, we throw up our hands in exasperation and say “See it doesn’t work.” and life continues as it always has.

Consider that the ‘gem’ in the discomfort is the motivation to change our lives and create what we want in life. All power in life is from within; it must be developed, unfolded, and cultivated.

Being receptive is acquired much in the same way physical strength comes from working out...or a good golf swing
comes from practice. As we demonstrate (practice) our new found knowledge we gain power in our lives. This is the result of our ability to think; therefore thought is the germination of all evolution in human consciousness.

As you intend what you want, pay little attention to the details of the physiological process involved.  Paying too much attention to the details actually inhibits the intended outcome from producing.  This takes a “trust in the process” that is acquired from an attitude of non-interference.

When we are anxious about falling asleep, we rarely get there. When we doubt a desired intention, we are actually sending out a self-defeating intention.

To be successful, hold in mind the next step necessary to your clear intention in life. Have confidence in the outcome. Add the word “able” to your positive intentions.   “I am able to be a money magnet.”  The body will go to a time of remembering when you were a money magnet and actually join with you to create more in your life. Thoughts are the materials we build with and the imagination is the mental workshop. Use Rapid Eye to clear the clutter in the workshop, so you can more easily find your tools. The growth process brings together self-knowledge and self awareness. To manifest we must move through growth, change and flow in order to BE our best and create our visions.

Fear is at the base if it all!

 

     There are many causes for being overweight and for being in low states

of health.  Each person has a unique set of responses to emotional states,

and to the sight, smell and taste of food.  For some, being overweight has

very little to do with food at all.

 

     The key to being overweight for some may be an emotional response or

pattern in the subconscious mind that causes the body to store fat.

Thoughts, beliefs, and emotional patterns can run automatic responses and

rob the body of energy needed for the physical functions required for a

healthy body.  Anxiety caused by inner conflict related to any area of life

can by itself, have an effect on metabolism.

 

     For others, the issue may actually be a form of substance abuse.  Many

people use food like a medicine to soothe anxieties.  Others may use

tobacco, prescription or street drugs, alcohol, shopping, gambling, or sex

to soothe their anxieties.  Very few of us know how to deal with feelings

directly.  We try to distract ourselves or avoid the feelings by looking for

relief outside of ourselves.

 

     Even though each individual is very unique, there does seem to be a

common pattern in people who have addictions. 

The block is in the self concept-manifesting a lack of self acceptance/love.

This is the source of most chronic anxieties.

 

     During infancy, childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood we are

developing our self-concept.  We pick up powerful messages from the people

around us.  Some of these messages create limiting beliefs about who we are,

our capabilities, and body images.  These limiting beliefs are often faulty

and based upon the distorted opinions of people who do not recognize the

real truth about us.  Nevertheless, these beliefs act as powerful automatic

subconscious programs throughout life-repeating over and over.  If you are the

first child born you come to mimic your Father's patterns, if you are the

second child born you come to mimic your Mother's patterns, the third child

born you come to mimic the dysfunction in your parents relationship and the

fourth child born you have come to mimic the dysfunction in your families DNA.

If you are an only child you get to do IT all.  That means all of the patterns. 

If there is a 5 year gap between children then the patterns start all over again.

 

Your birth holds so much information about the patterns you come to play out.

Did you know your financial lack/abundance comes from your birth.  As weird as that

May seem it does.

 

     These old programs reside in the subconscious mind and automatically

stimulate behaviors like unhealthy eating habits/addictions to stimulants

whether it be from smoking or drugs/alcohol. Often we are unaware of

the belief systems held within our subconscious minds. The subconscious

program will not change until the underlying belief gets noticed and

replaced.  Using the latest empowerment techniques, these beliefs can be

altered and used by the subconscious mind to create a new healthier program

and set of patterns.

 

     You may find these steps helpful in discovering and clearing your

limiting beliefs related to your body and health.  Follow them and you will

notice more success in all areas of life. 

 

1.     Discover and Change Limiting Beliefs that pull you down.  Listen to

your self talk.  Notice any self criticism or negative comments about your

body, your abilities, or your actions. This will give you some leading clues

about the deeper limiting beliefs.

 

2.     Get familiar with your body.  Learn to acknowledge all of your

emotions. Learn to accept your feelings without judgment.  Pay particular

attention to the physical sensations that let you know that you feel guilty,

frustrated, or afraid.

 

3.     Learn and practice an effective strategy for dealing with your

feelings directly and changing old beliefs that no longer serve you. (self

criticism, overwhelm, worry, fears, sadness, blame, guilt, shame, grief, lack

etc).  Remember - All addictions and negative behaviors result from the

attempt to soothe anxieties (feelings) with unhealthy substances or

behavior.  I suggest that you learn (IRT) Immediate Release Technique for

this purpose.  It is painless, fast and easy to do.  I will be happy to

provide you with instructions upon request.

 

4.     Discover the positive intention of the part of you that generates the

desire to live out old patterns over and over again.  For

instance I have worked with people who were programmed to accumulate extra

fat to discourage people of the opposite sex from approaching them

romantically or even as protection from perceived danger of some kind.  You

may want some help to re-educate this part of your subconscious mind so that it

can be on the team with the parts of you that are ready to create a

healthier life.

In the Blink of an Eye

Where does 18 years of your life go?  I asked myself that last Wednesday sitting at Amanda's High School graduation.  I think how can life pass you by in literally a blink of an eye.  From one day to the next, I hear people saying I don't have time for that.

Now I wonder, if you don't have time for the little things in life, how do you have time for the other things, like chatting on the phone, going on vacation, planning for retirement, stopping for lunch, visiting with friends.  When I think of that I realize I make time, meaning I plan for it.

7 years ago, I made a conscious decision to stop saying when I get a round tuit.  I still have the round tuit, from attending the apple festival in West Virginia with my family as a young child.  I pull that out from time to time to remind myself, I have the round tuit and just need to Feel the Fear and get tuit.  Prostrastination, in the past was my middle name.  I was sabotaging myself from all the things I really wanted to do in life.  Owning my own successful business was on the top of my priority list.  I could see the tendencies to procrastinate with that.  I would say I was going to write my goals down and in the blink of an eye, a week had gone by and I hadn't written a thing down.  Owning your own business you can't fly by the seat of your pants and expect to get where you are going. 

We are conscious creators of our lives.  In each given moment we choose what will happen next, whether we want to believe it or not.  In the middle of an heated discussion with someone we can choose to engage with that person and give them what they want which is a heated fight or we can CHOOSE to stop take a breathe and ask what is best for your highest purpose.  In the literally the blink of an eye you can change the dynamics of your life.

Where has 18 years of my life gone.  In the blink of an eye, I could have continued to choose to live with my head in the sand or make that decision to become awake and aware of my highest good.  We can get so caught up in the mundane of life that we forget to breathe, blink, and let go of that that isn't our highest and greatest good.

In the past 18 years, I was stuck in pain of my past, and reflected that outwordly.  Children are our greatest teachers, if you want to know how your life is turning out, look at what your children are mirroring to you.  18 years of having your daughter mirror to you your pain, is something I am choosing to let go of for my children and myself.  Pain in form of our self image and how we perceive ourself is damaging.  God created each one of us in perfection of what he sees in each of us.  Who am I to say that was wrong.  We then are judging ourselves and everyone around us.  We are here to live in our joy and bliss and not our self limiting beliefs of judgement of ourselves and everyone else.

I ask you in the blink of an eye where has the last 18 years of your life gone.  Are you still living in pain of the past or are you choosing to live in the moment of your joy and bliss?

Casting the Line

I went Fishing today for the first time in 7 years.  When Mike handed me the line at first I said no I'm just going to sit and watch.  He said well then help Jacob cast his line.  The first cast all the old feelings of I'm going to do this came back.  I showed Jacob how to cast the line and then slowing bring it back in.  I cast the line the second time and Jacob said okay Mom I can do this now, but I didn't want to turn it over, I said let me show you again and then you can have it.  With that I started to slowly bring the line in, then my line and bobber went down into the water.  I couldn't believe it my second cast and I had something.  Mike ran over to help me bring this fish in on Jacob's pole as we were both afraid it was going to break the pole.  When it was all said and done I had caught a 3lb bass the largest catch of the day.

I turned the pole over to Jacob and sat down, I reflected the rest of the time as I watched Mike and kids having fun for the afternoon, that fishing is just like our intentions.  You cast your line with one thing in mind catching a fish.  You slowly bring the line in and if nothing comes with it, you cast again and again for the big catch.  What I realized in that moment is if we don't keep casting our line with our goal in mind all we are going to get is mud from the bottom of the pond.  I also realized if we bring our line in to quick because it doesn't look like anything is biting then we once again have given up on our goals/dreams before they have fully matured.  Let the fish nibble and then hook them with your passion and zest.

How many times have you given up on your dreams because you didn't cast your line again, or you pulled your line in before your dreams manifested?

Healthy Cell Growth

Today, I realized something about cell growth. When we forget the truth of who we are meaning that we are created perfect in the image of our creator we have forgotten that we have the ability to create health cells in our body to replace cells that grow disease.

For me that was enlightening to remember and realize that I have the ability that was given to me at birth to move through that which I call disease. The disease is actually body saying HEY you have forgotten to listen to the truth of that which you desire therefore I will get your attention. When I ask what it is that which I desire I realize it is to live my true JOY coming from the place inside of me that only my creator speaks to.

We buy into so many peoples beliefs about life we completely forget what is our truth. Our truth is that we have the ability to create true JOY because it is our birthright to live in Joy and Peace. I believe that is the source of our stress, it is because we have forgotten. I am learning that whole brain communication is where life happens (www.marytbowen.com) My left portion of my brain wants me to believe it is all about me. My right portion of my brain would have me believe that I am one with the universe. I believe I am one with the universe because the more I stay focused on my right portion of my brain life gets easier.
